Background / History

Torikaze began his ninja career as a young member and eventual head of the Windcloud Clan. Before entering the Ninja Academy, he spent 1,500 Tranquility Points on the Genius buff, intending to master his clan’s Cloud Release and become the Second Hokage’s disciple. He entered the academy in a white robe bearing the Windcloud crest and met Maruboshi Kosuke and Uchiha Chiri on his first day. 5

Cloud Release proved far more difficult than expected, but Torikaze independently discovered the required Chakra fusion ratio after a month of experimentation. By the time he visited the Senju Clan Grounds, he had already become Hashirama Senju’s disciple; his status quickly became known throughout Konoha. 15

He demonstrated both Cloud Release and his System-granted Crystal Release before Hashirama and Tobirama. His early Crystal techniques included a durable crystal lotus, crystal constructs, and Crystal Poison, while his Cloud Sword Technique could freeze a Wood Clone’s internal organs. 16 17
