Kakashi attempts early graduation after only half a year at the Academy, at five years old. Both brothers eventually receive their forehead protectors, while Sakumo encourages them to thank their teacher and protect the village. Political Pressure and Sakumo’s Resignation

Sakumo’s popularity makes him a serious prospective Hokage, and his two gifted sons strengthen his position further.
