Background / History
Before joining Apocalypse OL, Demonic Fox competed under the ID YH as RDG’s captain and the world’s best MOBA support player. He led RDG to a world championship, relying on operations, strategy, and command rather than raw reaction speed. 440
After the championship, YH intended to retire from professional play. RDG owner Xu Yue instead sought to exploit his fame through advertisements, interviews, endorsements, and other commercial appearances while withholding the earnings under the club’s contract. Demonic Fox quit after confronting Xu Yue, only to face a 3 million liquidated-damages claim that cost him his accumulated esports income, house, and car. 440
He spent the following years in a slump, producing single-player-game videos and surviving on platform incentives. Sentinel’s invitation to the closed beta gave him a new opportunity; upon entering Apocalypse OL, he concluded that “the Demonic Fox” had returned. 440
Appearance
Demonic Fox was notably thin during his professional esports career, but had gained weight and become visibly softer in build by the time he reunited with former acquaintances in reality. 440
- Usually identified in-game as Ghost Face Demonic Fox. 16 51
- Has worn Raider clothing and armor recovered through combat. 38 39
- After contracting the Bristle Leader, bears a lifelike Bristle Bear King tattoo on his arm when the creature is stored within him. 278
Personality
Demonic Fox is analytical, cautious, and highly team-oriented. He habitually studies enemy behavior, equipment mechanics, class builds, and battlefield conditions before committing to a fight. He advocated retreat from the Raider Commander, directed the first large-scale Boss battle’s formation, and was elected leader of the Red City assault team for his calm judgment and broad perspective. 83 98 245
He is also notably generous and invested in group growth. Players trusted him to hold valuable Radiated Material because of his selflessness, and he has given resources to newer players even while maintaining the Peak Squad’s progression advantage. 154 179
His deference toward Cheng Shaofeng is both a recurring joke and a deliberate strategy. He frequently submits rare resources and Skill Imprints to the Lord, openly studies how to please him, and is regarded by other players as exceptionally skilled at dealing with the base’s leadership. 51 66 197 224

- His Skeleton Mage’s output was described as sufficient to dominate an ordinary Raider camp when supported by three Skeletons. 154
Shaman Support and Control
After selecting Shaman as a second specialization, Demonic Fox developed a control-oriented support role.
- His Shaman build prioritizes control, with buffs and summoning as secondary functions. 261
- Used [Entangling Vines] to restrain the Multi-Tailed Fox tribe. 522
- Used [Frozen Seal] alongside allied control skills to slow and bind enemies. 522
- Valued team-wide maximum-health buffs for their synergy with Necromancer support skills such as [Death Armor]. 267
Armor Piercing Aura
Demonic Fox understands and employs the squad’s [Armor Piercing Aura], granted by the [Serrated Spike] inlay.
- Enhances the attacks of nearby allies, allowing them to penetrate armor within a 10-meter range. 27 32
- Requires an active weapon inlay, reduces maximum Energy by 50, and consumes 1 Energy per second. 27 35
- Demonic Fox determined that sufficient Energy regeneration could sustain the aura without mental strain. 35
- Remained one of the Peak Squad’s core buffs during later operations. 191 265
Mogzorgon’s Contract
Demonic Fox can form soul-linked contracts with powerful creatures.
- Contracted the Bristle Bear King after the Azure Bird left it weakened. 277 278
- The contract allows him to sense the Bristle Leader’s emotions and thoughts, while the creature retains its memories and acts with greater flexibility than ordinary Skeleton summons. 278
- Can store the Bristle Leader inside his body, gaining HP +1055 and Energy +240 while it is absorbed. 278
- If the contracted creature dies, he may restore it by spending HP and Energy equal to its own; if he dies during this process, the creature dies permanently. 278
- Defeat of Demonic Fox automatically releases the contracted creature and breaks the contract. 278
Bristle Leader
The Bristle Leader is Demonic Fox’s contracted Bristle Bear King.
- Level: 42. 278
- Skills: Pounce, Frost Charge, Frost Storm, Cold Breath, and Bear King Aura. 278
- Bear King Aura: Raises attack capability and speed for itself and nearby allies. 286
- Its damage is split between physical and cold damage; its Blizzard ultimate is treated as a high-cooldown trump card against encirclement. 363

- Lin Tang — Peak Squad teammate; Demonic Fox often restrains Lin Tang’s impulsiveness while relying on his combat power. 49 51 83

- Old Ao — Peak Squad healer and summoner; Old Ao’s Draig’s Blood forms part of the squad’s core buff stack alongside Demonic Fox’s support tools. 191
- Cheng Shaofeng — The Lord of Calamity Base; Demonic Fox repeatedly submits valuable resources and skills to him in exchange for rewards and base-wide growth. 51 99 202
- Xuanxuan — Translator contact recruited by Demonic Fox to help the Peak Squad learn the local language. 94 107
- Bristle Leader — Contracted Bristle Bear King; their minds are linked, and the creature owes loyalty to Demonic Fox after the contract is formed. 278
- Xu Yue — Former owner of RDG and the person responsible for Demonic Fox’s esports-contract losses; Demonic Fox later led the Peak Squad in confronting him and recovering money from his victims. 440 442
Story Role / Major Arcs
Four Mountains and Early Peak Squad
Demonic Fox began as one of the three early players operating with Thin Dog and Lin Tang. He urged caution when they encountered the Colossus City caravan, helped fight Mutated Hyenas, and participated in the squad’s early Raider hunts. 19 20
In the Raider cellar, he carried the jade sought by the Skeletons’ controller, survived [Vitality Decay] from a Skeleton Warrior’s blade, and concluded that the Skeletons themselves were not the true enemy. 38 39
Calamity Base Development
He submitted the [Skill Imprint: Skeleton Revival] to Cheng Shaofeng, earning 500 Merit Points and helping expand the base’s available skills. 51
As the Peak Squad grew, Demonic Fox became one of its main decision-makers: he proposed discreet conduct, managed spoils, organized Boss-fight tactics, and coordinated the group’s resource handovers to the Lord. 49 51 98 202
Red City Assault
When Cheng Shaofeng left operational decision-making to the players, Demonic Fox was elected leader of the Red City assault team. He led the group through Bionic Robot defenses, coordinated the use of control skills and bait tactics, and directed the route toward the arsenal and final dungeon target. 245
Bristle Bear King Contract
After learning of the Bristle Bear King on the snow mountain, Demonic Fox initially chose caution and consulted Cheng Shaofeng before attempting a contract. The Peak Squad weakened and restrained the beast, allowing him to complete [Mogzorgon’s Contract] and gain the Bristle Leader. 275 277 278
He later fought alongside the Bristle Leader against Zhao Rujiao, using the bear’s aura and the squad’s layered control skills in an attempt to defeat the Tier 4 enemy. 286
Reality Confrontation with RDG
Demonic Fox revealed his history as YH to the Peak Squad before returning to RDG with eight teammates. There, they discovered Xu Yue was also an Apocalypse OL player. 440
After defeating Xu Yue, Demonic Fox demanded repayment for players harmed by RDG’s contracts. Xu Yue transferred a total of 19 million to twelve former contestants. 442
Void Exile Zone and Multi-Tailed Foxes
While traveling through the void, Demonic Fox recognized that Multi-Tailed Foxes were necessary mounts for crossing floating landmasses. He proposed using Thin Dog’s connection to the Nether God to subdue the tribe rather than challenging the Nine-Tailed Fox directly. 520 521
After the Nether God wounded the Nine-Tailed Fox, Demonic Fox supported the capture with vines and ice-based control. The Peak Squad obtained the tribe’s submission and used the foxes as void-traversing mounts. 522
