Xiao Xiao was fished out of Fate-Defying Lake by Luo Can. Although unfamiliar with Fate Defying Valley, she immediately regarded it as a beautiful place and was introduced to Ye Lingling, Dugu Yan, and Tang Ya, who welcomed her as a new friend. 115

She originated from the Douluo Continent ten thousand years in the future, where she would become the Xiao Ding Douluo and one of the Shrek Seven Devils. 116 209

After asking Luo Can to send her home, Xiao Xiao learned that she was on the Douluo Continent of ten thousand years ago. Luo Can revealed that he knew of her newly awakened Twin Martial Souls and offered to become her master, promising at least five 100,000-year Soul Rings for her two Martial Souls.
