After Hope saves Elizabeth from Star Hemp poisoning, she returns the favor when the Transparent Monster attacks Hope and Paul. She introduces herself, reveals her interest in herbalism and potions, and forms a tentative alliance with Hope despite their initially hostile first meeting. 23

Elizabeth helps Hope investigate the sealed space beside his room in Whateley House. She agrees to inform Professor Armitage about the Whateley family's threat to Dunwich, and reassures Hope that Armitage can help him. 24 25

After Hope teleports Elizabeth and Paul to Old Williams' rose garden, Elizabeth refuses to blame him for the house's collapse. Before leaving, she gives him her silver pocket watch. 27

Miskatonic University and Memory Loss
