Background

Windfire Wheel originates from a world populated by vehicle-based robots, where the Vehicle Clan fought prolonged wars against the Beast Clan. He claims to have served as Time City’s second-in-command and to have fought beside the Vehicle Clan’s War King, Luo Luo. He frequently recounts battles involving Tyrannosaurus, the Beast Clan’s strongest War King, though his stories are often interrupted before he can explain his own ultimate technique. 12 24

Rody obtains Windfire Wheel through a random treasure chest rewarded by the system. The motorcycle card materializes as a blue-and-white motorcycle before transforming into a humanoid robot, frightening the crew until Rody identifies him as a companion. 11

After witnessing Rody’s power against Wapol, Windfire Wheel receives the Munch-Munch Fruit. The fruit resolves his complaint that he can only consume motor oil and becomes the basis for his self-upgrades, vehicle production, and later shipbuilding work. 32 33

Following the establishment of Heaven Kingdom, Windfire Wheel becomes one of Rody’s highest-ranking officers and assumes responsibility for developing weapons and equipment for the kingdom. His status and mechanical nature lead the Navy and World Government to classify him as a mechanical cyborg rather than recognize him as a member of the Vehicle Clan. 93 138

Appearance

Windfire Wheel normally resembles a blue-and-white motorcycle capable of transforming into a humanoid mechanical form. His initial robot form has mechanical arms, a yellow head emerging from the handlebars, and large side panels that form his body. 11

  • Can alternate between motorcycle and humanoid robot forms. 11 18
  • His evolved form is entirely blue, with a gleaming steel frame and two mounted Super Windfire Cannons. 33
  • Is often mistaken by onlookers for a monster, robot, or unusual talking motorcycle. 11 12 17
  • Can deploy compact mechanical devices from his body, including a hovering surveillance sphere with blue mechanical eyes. 82

Personality

Windfire Wheel is intensely proud of his Vehicle Clan identity, his supposed standing in Time City, and his position under Rody. He habitually calls Rody “Captain,” loudly praises Rody’s strength, and uses Rody’s reputation to intimidate enemies. 12 13 17 32

He is boastful and theatrical, repeatedly attempting to tell others about his battles and named techniques. His companions often ignore or cut off these speeches, especially when he begins describing “Nine Heavens Thunder.” 12 24 26

Despite his vanity, he is loyal to Rody and considerate toward the crew. He offers to help Leo and Jose carry supplies, seeks Rody’s aid when threatened by Toby’s pirates, and takes pride in designing practical facilities for Nami and Robin aboard the crew’s ship. 18 26 50

Windfire Wheel is highly confident in his technological skills and reacts enthusiastically to recognition of his work. He repeatedly presents his inventions with dramatic flair, from the Four Hands’ weapons systems to his surveillance devices, and regards his technical accomplishments as proof of his genius. 50 57 82
