Background / History

Ning Tian is the young sect mistress of the Nine Treasure Glazed Tile Sect. She attends Shrek Academy partly to identify and recruit exceptional young talents for her sect; ideally, she seeks a capable future partner who could become the sect's next Guardian Douluo. She and Wu Feng grew up together, with Wu Feng serving as her protector. 25

After Jiang Yue defeats Dai Huabin, Ning Tian approaches him with Wu Feng to recruit him. Ning Tian and Wu Feng seek out Jiang Yue after his victory over Dai Huabin. Ning Tian offers to bring his request for the Distraction Control Technique to her sect, recognizing that his talent and sword martial soul would be valuable to the Nine Treasure Glazed Tile Sect. 19 20

The sect provides the complete technique and cultivation insights as gifts rather than requiring Jiang Yue to join immediately, asking only that he give it priority consideration if he later chooses a faction. Ning Tian emphasizes the sect's extensive experience cultivating Sword Martial Souls. Jiang Yue eventually agrees to watch over Wu Feng for five thousand Gold Soul Coins per month. 25

Freshman Assessment

Jiang Yue turns to Ning Tian for help investigating the Evil Soul Master who desecrated his relatives' graves. Their agreement includes Jiang Yue securing two Reserve Team places for Ning Tian and Wu Feng. Tang Ya's Attack and Di Tian's Intervention

While searching the Flame Lions' territory, Ning Tian and Wu Feng encounter Tang Ya and an Evil Soul Master subordinate. A blood-fueled explosion leaves both girls weakened, but their defensive Soul Tools save their lives. Ning Tian recognizes Tang Ya's corruption and connects it to the earlier destruction of the Iron Blood Sect. 138

Tang Ya orders the deaths of their captured Soul Douluo and Soul Sage guards, devouring both men with Dark Blue Silver Grass. Ning Tian suspects that this method of cultivation is making Tang Ya increasingly puppet-like. Jiang Yue's party arrives before Tang Ya can kill Ning Tian and Wu Feng, and Xiao Hongchen engages Tang Ya. 138

The confrontation escalates when Zhongli Wu appears. Before they part at the edge of Star Dou Forest, Ning Tian and Wu Feng accept Xiao Hongchen's commission to arrange delivery of Tang Ya's severed head to Shrek Academy.
