Background & History
Dursley began as a Lower District thug before learning to wield rage and becoming a Rank 1 warrior. Through violent debt collection, beatings, demolitions, prostitution, and other crimes, he rose through the Bloodfang Gang's ranks. When the previous leader disappeared, Dursley took control; over time, he expanded the gang's casinos and clubs while reaching Rank 2 himself. 18
Under Dursley, the gang became a major criminal force in Greenport's Lower District. It harassed businesses into closure, collected debts for clients such as the goblin broker Slyshadow Shatterstone, and maintained enough professionals and wealth to overmatch ordinary local groups. 19 39
After Pete Chinar disrupted the gang's campaign against Moni Brothers Tavern, Dursley sought greater power for the organization. Having received the favor of an unknown entity, he summoned underlings to Blood Roulette and arranged for them to be empowered through a ritual involving two black-robed figures. 39 43
The empowerment was later identified as the result of the gang's collusion with an evil god. This revelation prompted Noven and the Knowledge Sect to launch the fifteen-day event “Eliminate the Bloodfang Gang.” 41 47

- Members can be identified by tattoos depicting bloody fangs. 29
Criminal Activities
- Extortion and business intimidation — Gang members harassed establishments such as Moni Brothers Tavern, smashing property and driving away customers to force closures. 39 42
- Debt collection and usury — The gang lent money to desperate residents, imposed escalating interest and collection fees, then seized property or coerced debtors when repayment became impossible. 49
- Forced labor and sexual exploitation — Men unable to repay gang debts could be forced into illegal labor, while women were taken to gang-controlled service establishments or the black market. 29 49
- Black-market trafficking — Members openly operated around caged women in the abandoned warehouse black market, where victims were forced to serve purchasers. 29
- Casinos and clubs — Dursley opened several such establishments in the Lower District, providing the gang with income and influence. 18
Capabilities
Evil-God-Derived Enhancement
The gang's newly empowered thugs underwent a ritual in a symbol-covered hidden room at Blood Roulette. The process enlarged their muscles and left a restless energy within their bodies. 43
- Crimson energy attacks — They can imbue attacks with crimson energy, making strikes substantially more destructive. 43
- Injury-triggered escalation — When wounded, their internal energy converts pain and injury into greater fighting desire, temporary physical strength, and resistance to damage. 43
- Tier 1 combat power — Empowered former thugs could withstand Rena's stealth ambush, endure Pete's Arcane Missile, and overpower Evan when he limited himself to Tier 1 strength. 43 44
- Vulnerability to coordinated attacks — Despite their enhancement, isolated members were repeatedly overwhelmed by groups of Knowledge Sect followers. 45 46 49
Intimidation and Numerical Control
Before its evil-god empowerment, the gang relied on its reputation, professional members, and control of the Lower District to deter resistance. Members openly announced Bloodfang Gang business during crimes because few residents dared interfere. 29 45
Relationships
- Dursley — Leader whose rise, criminal operations, and pursuit of greater power shaped the gang's expansion. 18 39
- Evan — Rank 1 lieutenant who oversaw the attempted closure of Moni Brothers Tavern. 39
- Slyshadow Shatterstone — Goblin broker who hired Dursley to pressure Rena's family and avoid paying compensation. 18 19
- Moni and Rena — Targets of sustained harassment intended to shut down Moni Brothers Tavern. 18 42
- Unknown evil god — The gang colluded with this entity, receiving ritual-based power in exchange for its allegiance. 47 48
- Knowledge Sect — Primary opposition; its members organized to expose, track, and defeat gang members throughout the Lower District. 41 45 50
Story Role / Major Arcs
Conflict with Moni Brothers Tavern
The gang became involved in Rena's family troubles after Slyshadow Shatterstone hired Dursley to avoid paying compensation owed to the Stonemasons Brotherhood. Evan's men harassed Moni Brothers Tavern in an effort to force it to close, but Pete drove them away with repeated Arcane Missile casts. 18 19 39
Black Market Exposure
Pete and Rena encountered Bloodfang Gang members in Greenport's black market, where the gang's bloody-fang tattoos allowed them to operate openly. There, Pete learned of the gang's involvement in trafficking and coercing women into serving customers. 29
Evil-God Empowerment
Following Evan's failure at the tavern, Dursley revealed that his benefactor could rapidly raise the gang's power. His underlings were subsequently subjected to a ritual that transformed ordinary thugs into fighters with Tier 1-level strength and abnormal crimson-energy abilities. 39 43
Knowledge Sect Counteroffensive
Noven designated the gang as the target of the Knowledge Sect's first limited-time event. Pete, Rena, Gale, Brandon, and other followers used crowd tactics to defeat enhanced thugs, then split into teams to intercept isolated members committing crimes. 40 45 49
By the following day, the sect had unlocked [Status Display], allowing its followers to identify Bloodfang Gang members regardless of disguise. Pete's team used this ability to track extortionists and incapacitate them with sacks and Arcane Missile attacks. 50
