Before his Martial Soul awakening, Tang San trained daily on the village hill. Tang San’s rapid growth was repeatedly driven by his rivalry with Yang Ming. Even when he became a Soul Saint at eighteen and later the master of the Sky-Blasting Gang’s White Tiger Hall, he remained troubled by Yang Ming’s seemingly limitless advancement 872 873.

Qian Renxue later gave Tang San a Nine-Colored Glazed Pearl containing memories of an alternate, original destiny. Personality

Tang San is proud, disciplined, and highly protective of the techniques he inherited from the Tang Sect. Yang Ming’s apparent ability to learn Tang Sect methods through observation initially drives Tang San to suspicion and aggression, but he ultimately recognizes Yang Ming as a worthy rival 5 6.

His competitive nature does not diminish his loyalty. After seeing Yang Ming defeat bandits and later face enemies far above his level, Tang San resolves to improve rather than retreat. He and Yang Ming explicitly pledge to support each other as brothers 12 17 18.

Tang San is also perceptive and cautious. He immediately recognizes hostile intent when Li Ren and Wang Zhong ask after Yang Ming, and he refuses to reveal Yang Ming’s location despite being captured and tortured 35 36.

Brotherhood and the Spirit Hunting Forest

After fighting bandits, Tang San and Yang Ming pledge themselves as brothers. Tang San joins the Sky-Blasting Gang and eventually succeeds Tang Hao as the master of White Tiger Hall, its external-combat branch. He develops from a support-oriented controller into a battlefield leader, gaining extensive practical experience and guidance from Tang Hao, Tang Chen, Snow Star Prince, and Feng Baobao 739 740 873.

During the Soul Beast tide at the Great Wall, Tang San leads White Tiger Hall in halting a collapsing sector of the defense. He kills the Frenzied Thunder Fierce Leopard, Thousand-Foot Demonflame Centipede, and Windrider Mad Tiger before openly provoking Beast God Di Tian 740 741.

Original Destiny Revelation

While frustrated by Yang Ming’s continued growth, Tang San is approached by Qian Renxue, who gives him a Nine-Colored Glazed Pearl. The artifact grants him the memories of an original timeline in which he becomes the World Will’s Child of Fortune, a dual-god Divine King, and eventually the foremost Divine King of the Great God Circle 874 875.

These memories reveal an alternate life tied to Xiao Wu, the Shrek Seven Monsters, the Tang Sect, and the God Realm. They also intensify Tang San’s sense that Yang Ming’s existence has displaced his originally destined role 874 876.

Gu Yuena Alliance and Abyssal Cultivation

Tang San encounters Gu Yuena in the Star Dou Great Forest and negotiates an alliance: he will help rescue Wang Qiuer, while Gu Yuena will show him how to gain power through Abyssal creatures 877.

He uses the Life Seed and Mysterious Heaven Skill to refine abyssal energy without succumbing to corruption. After killing the Six-Clawed Demon Emperor and absorbing its transformed Soul Ring, he condenses a Soul Core and reaches Rank 85 879 898.

Betrayal, Peerless Douluo, and Plane Lord

Tang San ultimately betrays Gu Yuena after obtaining the Life Seed from Wang Qiuer. He poisons Gu Yuena with Asura God’s Blood, kills her, devours her body through the Life Seed, and forcibly absorbs her Seven-Colored Soul Ring 1017.

The fusion elevates him from Rank 89 to Rank 99, making him a Peerless Douluo. He then communicates with his future Divine King self through the crystal ball, learns that the supposed Creator God was a construct of future Tang San’s plan, and fuses with Douluo Star’s World Consciousness to become its Plane Lord 1017 1018.
