Adams, a transmigrator with a special constitution, is initially believed to suffer from a strange illness. He travels to Ohara for treatment, becomes young Robin's playmate, and awakens the qualities of a king in an accident. He also obtains a Devil Fruit with multiple abilities-a stitched-together monstrosity of a fruit in all but name.

With a special constitution, the qualities of a king, and an immensely powerful Devil Fruit, Adams has every advantage. He decides to follow in Rocks' footsteps and become the freest man on the seas.
