Ellin reached the end of the Ley Lines and learned that Teyvat’s civilizations were repeatedly destroyed to prevent them from exhausting the world’s finite resources. She left with a clearer understanding of the cycle but still wondered who Feng'er was and what she was doing.
Ellin left the Ley Lines with a newly unified demon god core and returned to Liyue when its people called for help. She defeated the crisis by promising to protect Liyue as its god, and the people’s bow made her the new Geo Archon.
After Liyue’s people accepted Ellin as their new god, she entered the battle against Osial and overwhelmed him with her strength. She stopped his attacks and dispersed the enormous waves threatening Liyue Harbor.
Ellin overwhelmed Osial with her fused elemental power and moved to kill him, but Beisht intervened and Osial unleashed a desperate spacetime attack. The vortex vanished with Ellin inside it, leaving her fate unknown as Zhongli explained Osial’s last-resort technique.
Osial’s spacetime vortex sent Ellin to the past, where she arrived at Yaoguang Shoal and met Alice. Zhongli sensed Ellin’s arrival and recognized her as Liyue’s future Geo Archon, while Alice welcomed her as a destined best friend.
Alice learned that Ellin would return to her own time after eight days in the past, which would amount to only eight seconds in her present. Ellin decided to spend the time with Alice, but after they flew to Celestia, the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles attacked and Ellin fled with Alice.
Ellin escaped the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles with Alice, then used her Geo Archon powers to give Alice Mora. In Mondstadt, Ellin saw young Sucrose grieving over her absent playmates and secretly left her an alchemy book, inspiring her to create Wonderland.
A lonely girl who called herself Fischl tried to make friends in Mondstadt by imitating the heroine of her favorite fantasy novel. After the children challenged her to prove her invented powers, she led them outside the city and was left unable to keep up the lie.
Ellin secretly used Planet Befall to make Fischl’s childhood wish come true when other children mocked her, leaving Fischl with a treasured memory of a mysterious white-haired girl. Years later, Fischl met Ellin at the Adventurers’ Guild and felt compelled to become her friend.
Ellin and Alice explored the underwater Seal at Guyun Stone Forest and discovered Beisht had spent thousands of years waiting beside her imprisoned husband, Osial. As they watched the creatures gather around the Seal, Ellin reflected on what she had seen, and the chapter ended with her and Alice appearing before Beisht.
Beisht defended Osial’s seal from Ellin, who questioned her and promised to spare them if Beisht could persuade Osial to abandon his hatred. Afterward, Ellin and Alice watched the sunset at Yaoguang Shoal as their time together came to an end.
Ellin met a young Ningguang on Yaoguang Shoal and offered to fund her ambitions as a merchant. Ningguang accepted the investment and vowed to repay Ellin generously if she became wealthy.
Ellin shared a farewell evening with Ningguang and Alice before returning to her own time. Ningguang later remembered the fairy sister who encouraged her, and Alice kept their photograph as she said goodbye.
Ellin returned to the battlefield and offered Osial and Beisht a choice: submit to her and stop harming humans or perish. Osial let go of his hatred, and Ellin healed the couple, made them her familiars, and blessed them to live freely in the sea; the story was left ready to move into its finale arc.
After Ellin resolved the Osial crisis with both righteousness and mercy, she met Ningguang in the Serenitea Pot and asked her to help govern Liyue. Their reunion ended with Ningguang urging Ellin to make more Mora as the Golden House’s reserves dwindled.
Ellin used the Mora she created to improve living conditions across Mondstadt, Liyue, and Inazuma. At a sunflower picnic, she made Shenhe her second familiar, granting her adeptus power so she could stay by Ellin’s side.
Feng'er opened her memories to Ellin and revealed Teyvat's history and the reason it chose Ellin. The chapter left Ellin poised to learn how Teyvat's weary will hoped she would judge its decision to destroy civilizations to protect the continent.
Feng'er revealed that she was once the will of Teyvat, but became Ellin’s familiar to experience human life and help her grow. She asked Ellin to save Teyvat and the suffering Sustainer of Heavenly Principles.
Feng'er revealed to Ellin that the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles had been driven toward madness by the pain of repeatedly nurturing and destroying civilizations, and asked him to find another way to save her and Teyvat. She explained that the false sky protecting Teyvat was becoming unstable and that she and Alice were holding it together while buying Ellin time to grow.
Ellin accepted the responsibility of using the authority of [Heavenly Principles] to prepare Teyvat for an approaching calamity and restore the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles. As the nations readied for war, she recruited Razor to help protect Mondstadt and went to Springvale after Diona pleaded for her to save the Spring Fairy.
Ellin restored the Spring Fairy’s power and helped her reunite with Diona in Springvale. After blessing them and giving Diona Amos' Bow, Ellin left them to protect Springvale together.
Ellin armed her allies and warned Aether that the Abyss Order must not exploit the coming calamity to attack the Seven Nations, promising Khaenri'ah's cursed survivors a chance to become human again afterward. Six and a half months later, the sky shattered and the calamity arrived.
A devastating calamity poured through spatial rifts and engulfed all Seven Nations, but Ellin’s warning let them prepare their defenses. The fighting spread across Teyvat as Mondstadt’s forces battled monsters on the ground, in the sky, and across Cider Lake.
Diona and the Spring Fairy, Varka, and defenders across Inazuma fought to hold back the monsters attacking Teyvat. On Watatsumi Island, Teppei saved two squad members at the cost of a mortal wound and died believing he had become worthy of Lord Sky-Clearing’s attention.
Teppei received a Hydro Vision after Lord Sky-Clearing acknowledged his growth, then returned to battle. Across Teyvat, allies defended the land and seas from the calamity, with Osial and Beisht holding back monsters offshore and Liyue’s forces protecting key settlements.
