Personality

Xiao Wu is caring toward those close to her. She worries about Tang San’s injuries during the entrance assessment and unlocks the nurse outfit specifically because Oscar’s sausages have failed to help him. However, she reacts angrily when she mistakes his unusual treatment for indecent behavior, fleeing in tears before accepting his explanation 2 3 4 6.

She is outspoken about conduct she dislikes. Her opinion of Tang San deteriorates when he appears unconcerned by Ma Hongjun’s behavior, and she refuses to remain with the boys after Dai Mubai’s comments disgust Zhu Zhuqing. She also comes to reject the idea that deliberately provoking strangers demonstrates talent 9 17 19.

Around Xiao Jue, she alternates between embarrassment, affection, and competitiveness. She joins Ning Rongrong and Zhu Zhuqing in giving him a massage after interpreting their attention as competition for a desirable partner. Joining Shrek Academy

Xiao Wu enters Shrek’s final assessment alongside Tang San, Ning Rongrong, and Zhu Zhuqing. Zhao Wuji evades her attacks and ultimately defeats Tang San, but grants the group a pass before the incense stick has finished burning 2 3.

Nurse Outfit and Meeting Xiao Jue

After unlocking the nurse outfit to help Tang San, Xiao Wu discovers him preparing to use a durian as a hemorrhoid treatment. Misunderstanding the scene, she accuses him of being shameless and runs away crying 6.

Xiao Jue finds her, comforts her, and invites her to his nearby villa. Facing a system deadline, she asks for his help and bandages his leg just before midnight. An awkward stumble while removing the bandages leaves her embarrassed; the following morning, thoughts of Xiao Jue distract her while Tang San tries to explain himself 7 8 9.

Arena and Forest Expedition

At the Soto Great Soul Arena, Xiao Wu wins against Qing Bao and later chooses Zhu Zhuqing over Tang San as her two-on-two partner. She supports Xiao Jue joining the expedition for Oscar’s Soul Ring and travels in his rented carriage with Ning Rongrong and Zhu Zhuqing 13 14 17 18.

Er Ming takes her into the Star Dou Great Forest, where she forms her third Soul Ring. His Matchmaker System then identifies her feelings for the arriving Xiao Jue. Er Ming joins their hands, successfully completing his matchmaking mission 26 27.

During their flight back, Xiao Jue confirms that his affection is sincere and reveals that he already knows she is a Soul Beast. His promise to protect her and keep her identity secret reassures her, and she embraces him before he kisses her forehead 27.

Training Under Xiao Jue

After questioning Yu Xiaogang’s teaching ability, Xiao Wu becomes one of the three girls Xiao Jue agrees to train for a match against Yu Xiaogang’s students in three months 28 29.

When Ning Rongrong and Zhu Zhuqing improve before she does, Xiao Wu confronts Xiao Jue at his villa. He examines her Dress-Up System and begins a spar to assess her abilities, blocking and evading her attacks while offering commentary 33.

Relationships

• Xiao Jue — Romantic interest and trainer. Their bond begins when he comforts her after the dormitory misunderstanding; Er Ming later pairs them, and Xiao Jue promises to protect her despite knowing her Soul Beast identity 7 27 29.
• Tang San — Initially a close companion whom she calls “Brother” and “Third Brother.” Her concern for him gives way to growing disillusionment, and she declines to partner with him at the arena. She also reveals that she had entrusted all her money to him 2 6 7 9 14.
