Background / History

Gu Yuena is the Silver Dragon King and half of the Dragon God. Before her awakening, she remained concealed beneath Life Lake in the Star Dou Great Forest while recovering from severe injuries. Her original planned transformation into a human, amnesia, and eventual meeting with Tang Wulin are described as a scheme orchestrated by Tang Hao, the Plane Master. 122

When Chen Yu came to the Star Dou Great Forest and demanded that the Soul Beast clan submit or be exterminated, Gu Yuena awakened from beneath the dried Life Lake. Though she retained less than one-tenth of her cultivation and recognized Chen Yu as a true god with a self-created divine position, she assessed the situation calmly rather than immediately fighting. 123

Gu Yuena overruled Di Tian's objections and negotiated terms for the Soul Beast clan's survival. She accepted a contract requiring the clan's submission to humanity in exchange for a minor plane where Soul Beasts could rebuild, provided humans would cease indiscriminate slaughter of Soul Beasts. 124 125
