Facilities
The pavilion is an ancient wooden hall built among the roots of the Golden Ancient Tree at the center of Shrek's Sea God Island. Its central chamber contains a long table with seats for the Pavilion Master and academy elders. 5 156
- Golden Ancient Tree — its faint fragrance fills the meeting chamber; it later emits golden light powerful enough to shroud Shrek Academy from satellite observation. 5 161
- Council chamber — a long-table hall used for decisions affecting Shrek Academy, its allies, and its political influence. 5 11
- Archives and furnishings — the pavilion retains old tables, chairs, calligraphy, paintings, books, and scrolls; all are found dust-covered after the academy's abandonment. 156
Governance
The Sea God Pavilion serves as the seat of Shrek Academy's highest-ranking elders. Its Pavilion Master presides from the head of the long table and directs the council's decisions. 5 7
- Yun Ming — Pavilion Master during Shrek's conflict with Chen Yu; a peak quasi-god known as the Sky-Propping Douluo. 7 40
- Zhuo Shi — senior elder who rallies the council during several crises and is proposed as temporary Pavilion Master while Yun Ming is incapacitated. 17 110 111
- Long Yeyue — Shrek's Supreme Elder, whose confidence in the academy's alliances initially strengthens the council's resolve. 7
- Cai Yue'er — her argument with Yun Ming is cited as evidence of the growing distrust within the pavilion's leadership. 66

History
For twenty thousand years, the Sea God Pavilion hosted Shrek Academy's most consequential decisions. Its elders regarded themselves as the guardians of Shrek's prestige, backed by accumulated resources, allied sects, and a concentration of the continent's highest-level soul masters. 11 13 84
The pavilion's decline began when Chen Yu targeted Shrek's financial dependence and political network. The Federation withdrew resource support, while the elders proved unwilling to personally cover Shrek's debts despite their status and wealth. 5 7
As Chen Yu destroyed or neutralized Shrek-aligned forces—including the Blue Lightning Overlord Dragon Family, Tang Sect, War God Temple, Nine Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, and Skysea Alliance—the pavilion increasingly became a place of fear, recrimination, and paralysis. 49 83 99
Its leadership maintained an outward appearance of unity even after trust between Yun Ming and the elders had fractured. The pavilion's members continued meeting and issuing decisions, but their shared confidence had largely collapsed. 66
After Shrek's role in the Demon Gate incident was exposed, its elders were captured and faced public judgment. Shrek Academy was later sealed for violating federal law. 139 141 164
Decline and Abandonment
When the Sea God Island elders arrive at Shrek Academy, the institution is deserted: its gates are unguarded, classrooms stand empty, and statues of the Shrek Seven Devils and Huo Yuhao are covered in dust and moss. 155
The Sea God Pavilion itself is found dark, stale, and dust-covered. Its furnishings and archives remain in place, but the chamber no longer contains an active council; only an aged and crippled Yun Ming remains inside. 156 157
Later, the Golden Ancient Tree releases intense golden light across Sea God Island and Shrek Academy. The Federal Satellite Bureau identifies the energy as god-level and cannot observe the academy through the resulting radiance. 161
