Tang San's long-standing influence over the Douluo Plane rested on faith, Shrek Academy, and control of the path to godhood. Records made public in the Federation reveal that, for twenty thousand years, godhood was effectively limited to Tang San's blood relatives or those connected to him through marriage, while other Soul Masters remained shut out regardless of their service to Shrek. 115

He knew of the coming Space-Time Turbulence but withheld its specifics from the other gods. Before the God Realm was swept away, he sent Tang Hao and Ah Yin to the lower realm, arranged for Tang Hao to become Plane Master, and sent Tang Wulin to grow up in the Douluo Plane as part of a larger plan. 144 145

Tang San's lower-realm network cultivated faith through manufactured dependence. The Holy Spirit Cult created danger, while Shrek Academy and its forces were positioned as protectors; public fear and gratitude then fed faith back to Tang San.
