Tang San's long-standing influence over the Douluo Plane rested on faith, Shrek Academy, and control of the path to godhood. Records made public in the Federation reveal that, for twenty thousand years, godhood was effectively limited to Tang San's blood relatives or those connected to him through marriage, while other Soul Masters remained shut out regardless of their service to Shrek. 115

His plans also relied on Tang Hao's control of the Douluo Plane. After the God Realm's disappearance, Tang Hao used his authority as Plane Master to prevent Soul Masters from crossing into godhood, draining their lifespan if their cultivation approached the divine realm. This restriction ensured that Tang San's chosen successors retained exclusive access to ascension. 60 180

Tang San's knowledge of the coming Space-Time Turbulence was not entirely his own discovery. The ancient Asura God detected the disaster and warned Tang San more than six thousand years earlier, instructing him to alert the God King of Destruction and prepare the God Realm. Tang San and Tang Hao intended for Tang Wulin to enter Shrek Academy, accumulate its resources and prestige, then survive the Holy Spirit Cult's planned destruction of the academy and rebuild a Tang-family-controlled Shrek. His reliance on faith made public perception central to his power, but he treated the people supplying that faith as instruments within his arrangements. When the backlash destroyed his Sea God position, he immediately chose to drain Xiao Wu's power to preserve his remaining godhood, speaking gently while acting without visible compassion. 146

The resentment of billions was then transformed into the power of humanity. Chen Yu's projection crossed the dimensional barrier between the Douluo Plane and the God Realm and struck Tang San with this power, shattering the Asura position and ending Tang San's ambition to command the Great God Circle. 146 147

Although Lie Yan and Ji Dong initially expended the Douluo God Realm's scarce celestial energy to maintain Tang San's life, his shattered divine positions and continuing Faith Backlash left him permanently dependent on their aid. Chen Yu bound Tang San to an Execution Platform formed from the Power of Humanity and broadcast the judgment across the Douluo, Star Luo, and Dou Ling continents.
