Ch. 81Advanced Meditation Method

Mentor Lilian explained how Advanced Meditation Methods let Wizards advance without Transcendent Water and form Innate Sorcery suited to them, then revealed that the Extreme School possessed one. Green learned the school’s strict aptitude requirements and formidable influence across the East Coast, leaving him newly aware of the power behind his affiliation.

  • Lilian shielded the laboratory and told Green that schools with Advanced Meditation Methods kept their knowledge secret.
  • Lilian explained that Advanced Meditation Methods enabled faster, safer advancement and granted complementary Innate Sorcery, while Transcendent Water could leave a Wizard with mismatched abilities.
  • Lilian said Advanced Meditation Methods required rare aptitude or special constitutions, and revealed that the Extreme School possessed one.
  • Lilian described the Extreme Meditation Method’s slow progress, its First-Class Aptitude requirement, and the Extreme School’s three Third-Level Wizards and high combat strength.
  • Green learned that the Extreme School placed Mentors in medium and large organizations to recruit promising Wizards, and realized how powerful the force behind him was.

Ch. 82Inheritance

Green formally joined the Extreme School after Mentor Lilian explained his exceptional meditation speed and the School’s rules. He received the complete Extreme Meditation Method and left for his dormitory, eager to study it after recovering from the powerful information transfer.

  • Mentor Lilian told Green that his cultivation speed was unprecedented and asked him to join the Extreme School.
  • Green agreed to join and accepted the School’s rules against internal slaughter and sharing the advanced method with nonmembers.
  • Mentor Lilian summoned the Judgment Eye, which witnessed Green’s oath and recorded his aura.
  • Mentor Lilian transferred the Extreme Meditation Method to Green, and the Chip organized the information after it overwhelmed him.
  • Lilian advised Green to rest, and Green left the laboratory for his dormitory, eager to examine the method.

Ch. 83Loneliness, Soul Fusion

Green confronted the loneliness embedded in the Extreme Meditation Method and strengthened his resolve to pursue Truth. His two souls fused, raising his Mental Power limit, and he returned to his Mental Space ready to begin practicing the method.

  • Green entered his Mental Space and touched the book titled Extreme Meditation Method, triggering an illusion of boundless darkness and loneliness.
  • The Chip interrupted the illusion, and Green reflected on Lazi's lonely life and questioned whether he could endure such a path.
  • Green recalled the hardships of his previous life and vowed to die on the path he had chosen, causing his Mental Power to break through its limit.
  • Green's soul fused with the remnants of "Green," leaving him with a sense of wholeness and raising his Mental Power to 40.
  • Green considered how the method tested practitioners' resolve, decided to remain true to himself, and returned to his Mental Space to begin practicing.

Ch. 84Extreme Meditation Method

Green learned that the Extreme Meditation Method could let him surpass Ninth-Level Wizard, but its slow progress would require outside resources and other meditation methods. He set the Chip to modify it and planned to pursue advancement, collect compatible methods, and continue his studies.

  • Green learned the Extreme Meditation Method had five layers, maximized Mental Power, and granted a suited Innate Sorcery at each breakthrough.
  • Green discovered that the method’s creator, Aofa Weilinclai Lachiliu, had designed a path that could surpass Ninth-Level Wizard, provided practitioners accumulated enough power in time.
  • The Chip estimated that Green had 423 years left to live and that the unmodified method would take 200 years to reach its first level.
  • The Chip advised Green to collect two more Advanced Meditation Methods for a much faster Triple Meditation, and Green decided he would need to seek them out.
  • Green asked the Chip to modify the Extreme Meditation Method, then decided to postpone further meditation until after advancing to Holy Knight and to focus on finding compatible methods and studying.

Ch. 85Selling Potions, Buying Slaves

Green rented a stall in the Academy Trading Area to sell Potions and visited the slave office to obtain human test subjects. He paid for three female slaves and was told to collect them in three days.

  • Green rented stall number 37 for three days and posted a sign listing the Potions he sold.
  • Green visited the Humanoid Test Subject Sales Office and told the slave trader he needed humans aged sixteen to eighteen with no disabilities or signs of training.
  • The slave trader said those humans would take more than three months to gather, but offered high-class female slaves available immediately.
  • Green paid fifteen Magic Stones for three slaves, and the slave trader promised they would be ready for collection in three days.

Ch. 86Economic Crisis

With Academy mission rewards rising and apprentice demand collapsing, Green found no buyers for his Potions and decided to seek Magic Stones outside the Academy. He bought three young women as experimental subjects, branded them with Spiritual Imprints, and prepared to leave with them.

  • Green found that apprentices had stopped buying Potions because low-risk Academy missions now offered generous rewards, so he decided to visit an outside market for Magic Stones.
  • Green inspected three girls at the slave merchant’s counter, confirmed they met his requirements, and branded them with Spiritual Imprints.
  • Green brought the girls to his laboratory, learned that their bodies contained Mandala Flower toxins, and let them keep their original names: Emily, Isabella, and Eina.
  • Green told Emily, Isabella, and Eina that he had bought them as experimental subjects, then ordered them to prepare to leave the Academy with him.
  • Green purchased enough Higher Knowledge to continue his studies and planned to seek Magic Stones beyond the Academy.

Ch. 87Wizard Families and Markets

Green chose the Walker Family Market to sell potions for Magic Stones and bought a secluded manor in Kansaks City for Emily and the other women. He reached the market entrance after dark and paid the owl guard its entry fee.

  • Green used the Library map to choose the Walker Family Market, which had ties to the Academy and a reputation for security.
  • Green arrived in Kansaks City and bought a secluded manor for a thousand gold coins.
  • Green gave Emily gold to hire servants and told her to wait at the manor while he rode to the market.
  • At the Walker Family Market entrance, an owl warned Green not to cause trouble or cast Sorcery and charged him one Magic Stone to enter.
  • Green paid the owl, which directed him to walk through the woods.

Ch. 88Trade

Green visited a hidden Wizard market to sell potions and received nine hundred Magic Stones from the Walker Family. He left with his payment after accepting the market’s prices.

  • Green entered the hidden market and surveyed its Wizards, goods, and central trading hall.
  • Green asked a Walker Family staff member about renting a stall and revealed that he was a potion maker.
  • Green declined the Walker Family’s offer to join them and let manager Ari Walker inspect his potions.
  • Ari Walker priced Green’s fifty Lesser Life Potions and five Meditation Potions at nine hundred Magic Stones total.
  • Green verified the Magic Stones and left the market with the two cases.

Ch. 89Biography

Green bought and read a Wizard’s account of a mysterious sunlike fireball appearing in the Death Sand Sea, which later became the Darknight Forest. After recalling the centipede he had encountered there, Green left the market with suspicions about the account.

  • Green found Adventures in the Darknight Forest at a street stall and learned it recounted the life of the Wandering Wizard Bittel.
  • Green bought the book for one Magic Stone, and the vendor lifted the spell restricting access to its later pages.
  • Green read Bittel’s account of a sunlike fireball rising from the Death Sand Sea, falling back to earth, and leaving a pillar of fire before disappearing without a trace.
  • Green checked the book’s age with the Chip and concluded that it was likely a reprint of Bittel’s old account.
  • Green remembered the centipede he had encountered in the Darknight Forest, formed suspicions, and left the market with the book.

Ch. 90Soundwave Sorcery

Green left the market and was ambushed on the road by three Wandering Wizards, but he had prepared a decoy and trapped them with animated magic stones. The ambushers’ Soundwave Sorcery destroyed the stone monsters, leaving Green’s attackers ready to fight back.

  • Eli ordered two men in black to follow Green and help him if anyone attacked.
  • Green used Chip to detect three pursuers: two Second-Class Apprentices and one First-Class Apprentice.
  • At a fork in the road, the three ambushers ensnared Green’s horse and shot him through the heart with a lightning-charged arrow.
  • The ambushers gathered the scattered magic stones, but Green’s voice revealed that they had killed a wooden decoy instead of him.
  • Green animated the magic stones into biting monsters that wounded the three men and bound stones to their hands.
  • The tall, thin Wizard used Soundwave Sorcery to turn the stone monsters back into ordinary stones.

Ch. 91The Harvest

Green ambushed and killed three wizard apprentices using summoned treants and Vampiric Vines. Afterward, two guards sent by Eli revealed themselves, and Green sent them away so he could collect the spoils.

  • Green summoned three enhanced treants and sent Vampiric Vines after the three apprentices.
  • The thin apprentice used a magical axe to unleash a wide-ranging gravity attack, crushing the treants and vines to the ground.
  • Green's treants quickly recovered, and the three apprentices were caught in a vine net, drained, poisoned, and crushed to death.
  • Green addressed two gray-robed Walker Family guards who had been watching and learned Eli had sent them to protect him.
  • Green dismissed the guards and used Mental Power to make the treants search the three bodies.

Ch. 92Preparing to Break Through

Green cleansed and claimed an enchanted axe and two sorcery scrolls after killing three Wandering Wizards, then spent three months preparing a Body Modification experiment. The chapter leaves him ready to begin the experiment on three unconscious women in his underground laboratory.

  • Green used Malice Erasure to draw a vengeful skull from the axe, then destroyed it with Curse Purification.
  • Green examined the axe, recognized its close-combat runes, and kept it along with the Magic Stones and potions he had found.
  • Green recorded the Sonic Sorcery and Gravity Sorcery from the two scrolls, destroyed them, and erased traces of his presence before leaving.
  • Over the next three months, Green sold potions at the Walker Family Market and learned from Eli that the dead attackers had been the notorious Death Trio.
  • Green prepared a runic Formation in his underground laboratory and placed three unconscious women at its center for a Body Modification experiment.

Ch. 93Talent Breakthrough

Green used a Formation to raise Emily and two others to Holy Knight, then redirected its energy into himself to break through the barrier holding back his Mental Power aptitude. His aptitude advanced into another realm as the barrier shattered.

  • Green activated the Formation and infused Emily and the other two with runes, raising their Knight ranks to Holy Knight.
  • Green replenished the Formation with Magic Stones and pierced the hearts of Emily and the other two with his nails to draw their Life Energy.
  • Green activated energy conversion and absorbed the Formation's Magic Stone energy and Life Force, causing his Life Tree and Mental Power Origin to grow.
  • Green pushed the Formation to its limit, struck a crack in the barrier blocking his aptitude, and shattered it to advance his Mental Power aptitude into another realm.

Ch. 94Scars

Green experienced a vision of the Wizarding World and its red scar, then returned to his laboratory with his soul and talent changed. After finishing his experiment, he gave Emily and the other two the manor and protective Potions before preparing to leave.

  • Green saw the Wizarding World and a red scar across its sphere before a force pulled him back into his body.
  • Green learned that the Chip had blocked the vision as dangerous knowledge, sealed his memories of it, and discovered his physical attributes and control over Negative Energy had improved.
  • Green told Emily and the other two that his experiment was complete, their Mandala Flower toxins were gone, and he would leave them the manor.
  • Green transferred the manor to Emily and the other two, then gave them Lesser Life Potions, Lava Potions, and Ice Crystal Potions for protection.

Ch. 95Formal Wizard (Part One)

Green returned to the Academy and prepared to break through to become a Formal Wizard. As his Mental Power began rising inside the laboratory, Emily, Isabella, and Eina resolved to train until they became Holy Knights so they could see him again.

  • Green left Emily, Isabella, and Eina at the manor after they refused to let him remove their Spiritual Imprints.
  • Emily led Isabella and Eina to train so they could become Holy Knights and meet Green again.
  • Green returned to the Academy and noticed that the new apprentices appeared less talented than earlier students.
  • Green entered his laboratory, calmed his mind, and began meditating to attempt a breakthrough.
  • Green's Mental Space shook as his rune expanded, and his Mental Power began climbing rapidly.

Ch. 96Formal Wizard (II)

Green’s Mental Power surge and the Life Tree’s growth nearly drained his Life Force, but he replenished it with potions and completed his advancement to Formal Wizard. He gained two Innate Sorceries, Elemental Barrier and Resistant Constitution, and realized his defenses made him exceptionally powerful.

  • Green’s expanding Mental Space began forming his Innate Sorcery while the Life Tree in his heart grew and rapidly consumed his Life Force.
  • Green refused to stop the advancement and drank more than a dozen Lesser Life Potions to replenish his dwindling Life Force.
  • The Life Tree accelerated Green’s Mental Power growth, and runes filled the walls of his Mental Space as his Sorcery Model formed.
  • Green recovered his youthful appearance after the Life Tree began feeding energy back into his body and grew to twice its former size.
  • Green identified his two Innate Sorceries as Elemental Barrier and Resistant Constitution and learned their abilities and costs.
  • Green reviewed his stats and concluded that his defenses made him one of the strongest among Formal Wizards.

Ch. 97Upgrade

Green decided to improve his Higher Knowledge, Alchemy, and access to an Advanced Meditation Method, then upgraded his Chip after it detected his soul’s qualitative transformation. After becoming a Formal Wizard, he signed an agreement with the Academy and learned how the major Schools regulated their Advanced Meditation Methods and apprentice recruitment.

  • Green reflected on his weak foundation and resolved to seek an Advanced Meditation Method and advance in Alchemy.
  • The Chip detected Green’s soul’s qualitative transformation, and Green ordered it to upgrade, a process expected to take three hours.
  • Green packed his belongings and visited Mentor Lilian, who confirmed his advancement to Formal Wizard and congratulated him.
  • Lilian explained Green’s duties and privileges in the Extreme School, and Green signed the Academy agreement she gave him.
  • Lilian gave Green a book about agreements between Schools and explained how some Dark Wizard methods endangered mortals.
  • Green read that Schools divided apprentice recruitment by territory, and realized he might have been forced into a Black Wizard Organization if he had been born in its territory.

Ch. 98Central Region

Lilian explained the Wizard Continent’s Four Great Coasts and the distant Central Region before giving Green the School’s Arcane Sigils. Green entered the Main Campus and discovered Newt surrounded by four women who appeared to be pursuing him for marriage and children.

  • Lilian told Green that the Central Region was rich in ancient knowledge and elemental energy but was perilous to reach, then gave him the School’s Arcane Sigils.
  • Green went to the Main Campus and found that his Resistant Constitution kept its barrier’s radiation from penetrating his body.
  • Green passed the barrier’s inspection and entered the colorful, garden-like Main Campus.
  • Green rested beside a lake and saw Newt walking with four women, including two Formal Wizards and three Second-Class Apprentices in their group.
  • Green recognized that the women were courting Newt because his talent and Potion-making made him a desirable prospect for producing heirs.

Ch. 99Ruins

Green reunited with Newt, who invited him to explore Elder Wizard Ruins near Darknight Forest when they opened the following July. Green agreed and had about a year to prepare, concealing his reaction to the ruins’ location.

  • Green met Newt by the lake and was introduced to Vitrie Telina and three Wizard Apprentices.
  • Newt sent Vitrie and the others away, then privately confirmed that Green practiced an Advanced Meditation Method.
  • Newt revealed that he had found Elder Wizard Ruins as an apprentice and gained a Fairy Petal there, which had helped him advance.
  • Newt invited Green to join three other Wizards in exploring the ruins, where they would face Demonic Beasts and Modified Beasts while pursuing their own goals.
  • Green accepted after learning the ruins near Darknight Forest would next open on the full moon in July, about a year later.

Ch. 100Teaching

Green learned that Newt had discovered ruins in a different part of Darknight Forest, then settled into his Academy villa and became a popular teacher. The chapter ended with Green answering an apprentice’s question about a scar that a Recovery Potion had failed to heal.

  • Green suspected that Darknight Forest might contain multiple sets of Ancient Ruins after comparing Newt’s discovery with his own.
  • Green opened the door to the luxurious villa the Academy had assigned him.
  • Three months later, apprentices rushed to attend Green’s public course, where he answered their basic questions.
  • Green’s course became popular, and the Academy built him a large lecture hall after other Wizards saw how broadly he understood different subjects.
  • Green selected an apprentice with a facial scar, identified radiation and missing genes as its cause, and recommended a Lesser Life Potion or Life-Type Sorcery.
