A Door to Another World

Swords and magic, gods and dragons, demons and the abyss, humans and other races.

A door appears in this wondrous, uncanny world, bringing with it someone who does not belong. When two civilizations meet, what will their clashing ideas bring forth?

A druid stands before wheat fields several meters tall, while merfolk chase schools of fish through their fisheries;

A magic-powered train, its inscriptions glowing, crosses the plains, while voices in an academy recite multiplication tables in unison;

Ogres and children swing from the Dark Child's tentacles, counting as they go;

Dwarves clink glasses with elves, while devils throw their arms around priests;

Gods chase one another through the streets, and unspeakable beings chat amiably over drinks;

On a magical screen, the lovers' heartrending separation moves even the demons of the Bottomless Abyss.

Time will tell whether this newcomer brings wonder or ruin. But first-

He must learn the common tongue and avoid starving to death on the streets.
