Filo is a Grand Princess of the Terra Empire and a Mad Wizard cultivated under the protection of the Terra Emperor. Her royal status grants her access to resources, forbidden knowledge, and rare mechanical Outer God rituals unavailable to most Wizards. She was entrusted with the Emperor Token, a royal item capable of summoning the Emperor's power, but its use exposed her to the attention of Outer Gods and later became a source of guilt when the Lord of Myriad Flesh threatened the Emperor. 224 47

The Emperor had foreseen both his own Fated Death and Filo's future as a Mad Wizard. Rather than blaming her for the Outer Gods' attention, he explains that he deliberately chose a future in which he could confront a known danger rather than submit to an unknown fate.
