Long Yeyue's confrontation with Qiangu Dieting had consequences far beyond the original insult. Defense of the Blue Lightning Overlord Dragon Family

After Yu Guanzhi detained a disrespectful collateral descendant, the Blue Lightning Overlord Dragon Family called upon Long Yeyue to confront the Central Legion. She arrived over the clan estate, released the pressure of a Limit Douluo, and ordered Yu Guanzhi either to leave or summon Chen Yu. 9 10

The family elders believed that Long Yeyue's seniority and reputation would force the Federation to retreat. Long Yeyue reinforced this belief, declaring that Chen Yu could not decide the fate of the Federation and refusing to treat Yu Guanzhi as a legitimate negotiating partner. 9 10

Death

Yu Guanzhi instead requested Chen Yu's intervention. Chen Yu threw a silver-white spear from tens of thousands of miles away; Long Yeyue was unable to evade, summon her martial souls, or fully respond before the spear pierced through her defenses and battle armor, killing her instantly. 10 11

The spear remained embedded in the ruins of the Blue Lightning Overlord Dragon Family after killing her, but shattered from the force of the strike. 11 13

The weapon later used by Chen Yu was visibly identical to the spear that had killed Long Yeyue. Chen Yu subsequently explained that he had forged such weapons from Extraterrestrial Meteorite Iron, treating them as inexpensive and replaceable weapons rather than as a unique divine artifact. 13 14
