Background / History
Reincarnation and Tribal Leadership
Jiang You was formerly a human and an experienced player of Feland World. He reincarnated into a young Eaglefolk during the ancient Titans and Dragons era, far earlier than the Human Empire era he remembered playing. He merged with the child’s memories, retaining affection for his new family despite knowing he was a different person 1 22.
His father, Yi, was the High Barbarian Mountain Tribe’s chief. When the Royal Court conscripted fifty warriors, Yi departed after entrusting Jiang You’s upbringing to A Zhi. Three years later, Jiang You’s hunting ability and the tribe’s shortage of adults led its elder to nominate him as Yi’s successor. He accepted and vowed to change his people’s fate 1 2.
Over the next seven years, he replaced cave living with a walled wooden village, organized water collection, and introduced bronze weapons, tools, and utensils. To secure a copper deposit, he led a nighttime attack that annihilated a neighboring Snake People tribe of roughly three hundred, whose population consisted largely of elderly people, women, and children 3.
Awakening in the Vast Sea Forest
At sixteen, Jiang You faced another levy demanding fifty warriors from a tribe of only about two hundred. He submitted when the envoy threatened extermination, but resolved to overthrow the Royal Court 3 4.
In the Vast Sea Forest, he used a copied bone spear to impersonate a Royal Court scout and search for the birthplace of Old Tortoise, a future demigod whose quest he remembered. After luring a wyvern away from his tribesmen and killing it, he concealed himself beneath its corpse in a crescent-shaped lake. There he found the young tortoise and the stone that enabled both of them to survive exposure to titan and dragon blood 2 5 6.
His awakening did not save all his warriors: Royal Court troops had forced them into the front ranks against griffins, leaving only thirty-odd wounded survivors. Jiang You refused an invitation to abandon them for the Royal Court, though he accepted instruction on class creation and a spiritual dew used for meditation 8 9.
Paradise Mountain and the Winged People
After creating Thunder Wielder and advancing to Master Tier, Jiang You killed the next conscription envoy. He rallied the tribe around its grievances and led it east, reaching the coastal refuge he named Paradise Mountain a month later 10 11 12 13.
Twenty years into their refuge, the Light Titan Asuna and Primordial Black Dragon Mephit killed each other nearby. Jiang You used Asuna’s blood to complete his own transformation, then built an evolution pool over her buried body. He required his people to bathe in it every seven days and established a forbidden zone around the black dragon’s grave 14 15 16.
The pool gradually changed the tribe’s appearance and supernatural potential. By the fourth twenty-year period of coastal settlement, its population had reached thirty thousand, with several hundred Transcendents. Jiang You helped develop Winged People classes, but could not pass down his own path because none of his tribespeople possessed both light and thunder 19.
His original companions aged and died while he continued advancing. Little Eight, the tortoise awakened alongside him, remained his companion through these losses 16 17.
Anti-Titan War and Revenge
After a long period of isolation, Jiang You opened the Winged People to the wider continent and joined Amigel’s Anti-Titan Alliance in exchange for territory and technological products. At the alliance gathering, he received the third seat, behind the trolls and dwarves, and responsibility for countering the Titans’ aerial forces 20 21 26.
At Proadas, he led ten thousand Winged People against nearly one hundred thousand enemy flyers. High-altitude volleys and evasive tactics secured the skies at the cost of three thousand troops. He then committed several hundred Transcendents to attacks on the Titan Giants themselves 28 29.
After victory, he secured Amigel’s agreement to reject the Eaglemen Royal Court’s surrender and attacked Heavenly Mountain. Still a Hero-tier fighter, he defeated the aging Legendary Eagle King through superior reflexes, mobility, and attrition, then beheaded him after refusing his surrender 30 31 32.
Jiang You subsequently reached Legendary rank and crowned himself King of the Winged People on Heavenly Mountain. He claimed the ruins, planned a mountain city there, and returned east to consolidate his strength 33 34 35.
Goblin Empire and Human Inheritance
Jiang You promised Christina that he would shelter humanity and preserve its past. He later accepted Yang Yan’s fire, lightning, and wind enchantment technology in exchange for protecting future humans and passing the knowledge to their descendants 22 31.
During the Goblin Empire’s first year, Amigel’s human consort Fiona asked him to father a child, citing a prophecy that humanity needed his bloodline. Jiang You agreed on the condition that she explain how to protect the Winged People from the emerging Griffin Knights; she proposed volunteering to raise the griffins 41.
Their son, Lionheart, arrived at Paradise Mountain at fifteen to request Transcendent training. Jiang You discovered that he shared both light and thunder talents, then transmitted his Legendary profession path, allowing for adjustments because Lionheart had no wings 43 44.
Jiang You named the Winged People’s eastern territory Rosendas and oversaw its development. Following Amigel’s death, he rejected calls for immediate expansion, warning that Great Sage Azeba and a possible concealed demigod could still defend the empire 46 48.
Appearance
- Original Eaglefolk form: Beak, facial down, slit pupils, and clawed hands. By sixteen, he had become taller and more athletic, with stronger wings 3 4 7.
- First blood awakening: His beak became a humanlike nose and mouth; some facial down disappeared. His hair became silver-gray and his eyes violet 7.
- Winged Person form: Pure white wings, entirely silver hair, fair skin, and handsome humanlike features. Feathers remained on his wings but disappeared from the rest of his body 15.
- Legendary form: A near-perfect physique, softly luminous silver hair, and flawless white wings carrying visible light and thunder power. His appearance acquired a distinctly holy aura 33.
Personality
Jiang You’s loyalty centers on the people who raised him. He refuses the Royal Court’s offer of personal advancement at their expense, shares the means of bloodline evolution with his tribe, and grieves when his childhood friends die without achieving transcendence 8 16.
His protective leadership coexists with severe ruthlessness. He destroys the Snake People settlement to obtain copper, executes the conscription envoy, and rejects the defeated Eagle King’s surrender. He postpones both marriage and coronation until the Royal Court blood feud is avenged 3 13 23 32.
He is ambitious without ignoring differences in power. As a mortal, Yateli’s presence makes him suppress his pride and act cautiously; later, he chooses the dangerous Sky Lord path despite the world’s hostile response. Politically, he negotiates concrete alliance benefits and refuses to mistake Amigel’s death for proof that the Goblin Empire is defenseless 5 21 36 48.
Abilities & Skills
Thunder Power
Awakened through Yateli’s and Arillethos’s blood, thunder forms the basis of Jiang You’s first class 6 10.
- Charges thrown spears with lightning; an early demonstration blasts a meter-wide crater into the ground 11.
- Uses thunder to draw and direct multiple bronze longswords in battle 12.
- Coats his sword blade in violent lightning 32.
- Gains multiplied Thunder Power damage through the Legendary trait Divine Might 34.
Light Power and Aerial Mobility
Asuna’s blood grants Light Power, whose potential eventually surpasses his thunder aptitude 15 17.
- Creates an additional pair of light wings for a substantial speed increase 32.
- Combines flight, sharp Transcendent eyesight, and rapid evasive movement in aerial combat 8 32.
- Develops light-based combat applications among his people, including Radiant Armor-Piercing Arrows used against a juvenile Titan’s weak points 29.
Champion’s Will and Weapon Combat
Champion’s Will grants extraordinary perception, reflexes, and combat instincts 7.
- Enables him to evade the Eagle King’s attacks inside the Storm Domain and gradually wear him down 32.
- Uses spears, thrown weapons, and swords; his post-class panel records mastered throwing and spear technique, while his later panel records master-level sword skill 11 15.
- His victory over the Eagle King depends partly on the king’s age and inability to sustain a prolonged fight; the text notes that a younger king might have defeated him 32.
Legendary Powers
At Legendary rank, Jiang You’s light and thunder resonate with their corresponding laws 33.
- Sacred Thunder Domain: A Legendary domain formed from both powers 33.
- Divine Might: Multiplies damage inflicted through Thunder Power 34.
- Sacred Heart: Allows him to enter a state of “absolute combat”; no further mechanics are specified 34.
- Long-lived bloodline: Replaces his previous bloodline classification upon advancement 34.
Class Creation and Inheritance
Jiang You designs classes by entering the Sea of Spirit and building a framework around his abilities 10.
- Creates the path from Thunder Wielder through Wings of Thunder, Sacred Wing Walker, and Sacred Thunder Blaze 11 17 33.
- Helps develop the Winged People’s Light Swordsman path to the second tier 19.
- Transmits his profession path directly into Lionheart’s mind through touch 44.
- His own path requires both light and thunder aptitude; Lionheart’s lack of wings requires modifications 19 44.
Leadership and Technical Knowledge
- Introduces wooden housing, organized water supply, bronze smelting, utensils, and flight-compatible armor using knowledge from his previous life 3.
- Commands high-altitude archery, pursuit, evasive maneuvers, and coordinated attacks on weak points 28 29.
- Directs settlement planning, territorial development, and intelligence gathering 35 46 48.
- By the time Lionheart visits, normally cultivates for a month and handles governance in a single day afterward 43.

- Old Eagle King — Legendary ruler of the Royal Court and target of Jiang You’s ancestral revenge. Jiang You defeats and executes him 32.

Trivia
- Jiang You initially considers naming his new race Angel, but abandons the idea after sensing an immense, terrifying presence. He chooses Winged People instead 15.
- His game panel remains readable while leveling, skill points, quests, and the ordinary player template are unavailable. Creating his first class triggers system errors and a failed automatic repair 1 10 11.
- His two Legendary traits are unusual: Legendary classes generally awaken only one 34.
- Paradise Mountain receives its name because Jiang You wants to call the refuge Heavenly Mountain, but that name already belongs to the Eaglemen Royal Court’s seat 13.
