Background / History
Jizi lived on Earth in an unspecified timeline. After her mother died, her father remarried; Jizi’s stepmother treated her poorly, while her younger half-sister remained close to her. Jizi accidentally blinded her sister in one eye, then delayed reporting the accident out of fear, making the injury permanent. Overcome by guilt, she secretly followed her sister for years under the pretext of protecting her. 3
When a thrown hot iron flew toward her sister, Jizi shielded her with her face. The burn disfigured Jizi and killed her. A god offered to heal her sister’s eye if Jizi traveled to the Type-Moon world during the Fourth Holy Grail War and dealt with the Black Grail threat; Jizi accepted and received several cheats for the mission. 3
She was summoned by Kirei Kotomine as an Assassin-class Servant. Though she initially performed the role of a subordinate, she repeatedly interfered with the expected course of the Holy Grail War, cultivated allies, and kept her larger objective concealed. 4 10 20
Jizi later identifies her true mission as purifying Angra Mainyu and ending the corrupted Holy Grail War ritual if possible. To accomplish this, she recruits Yanye, Sakura, Lancelot, and eventually Rider’s faction into a broader alliance. 39 40
Appearance
Jizi’s modified body resembles an adult-sized Suigintou without wings. Her commonly concealed appearance is a slight young woman with long silver hair and red eyes; without heels, she is approximately 1.60 meters tall. 3 31 32
- Silver hair and red eyes, which cause Irisviel to mistake her for an adult Ilyasviel. 32
- Small mouth, slightly upturned nose, and a narrow, melon-seed-shaped face. 32
- Frequently wears a mask, hood, and dark robes to hide her face, gender, and identity. 4 31
- Can alter clothing and outward appearance through manifestation. 28 32
- Her mask is her actual body; her humanoid form is a constructed puppet. 2 9
Personality
Jizi is fundamentally lonely, submissive, and poor at ordinary communication. After her mother’s death and the accident involving her sister, she developed intense self-loathing and withdrew into virtual entertainment. She later adopted absurd humor, teasing, and deliberately outrageous behavior as a social mask. 3 48
She is calculating, theatrical, and highly skilled at provoking others into exposing their motives or reconsidering their beliefs. She frequently lies, performs weakness, and turns conversations into psychological traps, particularly against Saber, Lancer, Gilgamesh, and Kirei. 13 31 46 47
Despite her manipulation and vulgar humor, Jizi is fiercely protective of vulnerable children. She repeatedly risks herself for Rin and Sakura, even when doing so compromises her plans or combat mobility. 22 23 36 50
Abilities & Skills
Myriad Delusions / Imagination Manifestation
Jizi’s principal Noble Phantasm recreates weapons, items, equipment, and abilities she has previously seen. The quality of a recreation depends on her understanding or obsession with the original source and on the mana invested. 2 3
- Can manifest weapons repeatedly without additional mana while they remain undamaged. 2
- Damaged creations must be reconstructed, often requiring time and mana. 2
- Can reproduce items for later use, though items have expiration periods and are more expensive than direct healing or manifestation. 2
- Cannot create something solely from imagination; an existing prototype is required. 3
- Poor familiarity produces weak or inaccurate copies, while increasing an item’s rank through mana is prohibitively expensive and temporary. 2
- Can manifest autonomous threats such as Berserk Eva-01, though she cannot directly control most recreated robots. 24
Counterattack’s Ahoge
The god granted Jizi three Ahoges: one-use mana-storage devices containing enormous reserves of mana. 2 3
- Each Ahoge is consumed completely once activated, even if only part of its mana is used. 2
- Their mana can only strengthen Myriad Delusions; it cannot be freely used for other purposes. 2
- Jizi’s authority as an enforcer restricts her from actions hostile to humanity or Earth, such as human purification or nuclear attacks. 3
Mask and Puppet Body
Jizi’s mask is her true form, while her humanoid body functions as a puppet that can be discarded and reconstructed. Both mask and body retain perception. 2 9
- She can hide the mask nearby and send a puppet body into danger, allowing her to “play dead” without permanent destruction. 9
- Reconstructing a destroyed puppet consumes substantial mana and time. 9
- Damage to the puppet still causes pain, sometimes amplified because both mask and body perceive it. 12 34
- She can abandon a controlled body and summon an undamaged prior body instead of rebuilding it from scratch. 45
Mana Absorption
Jizi can replenish herself by draining stamina or mana through the mask. 22 28 36
- She stalks thieves at night, drains their stamina, and leaves them exhausted rather than dead. 28
- She absorbed mana from Rin during their confrontation with Caster to restore enough power to signal Berserker. 22
- She used the mask to melt and absorb Sakura’s Crest Worms along with Matou mana, freeing Sakura from Zouken’s control. 36
Stealth, Mimicry, and Perception
As Assassin, Jizi possesses strong mobility and stealth, enabling infiltration, tailing, and rapid retreats. 9 21 22
- Uses mimicry to simulate the aura and appearance of other beings, including disguising herself as bait for Caster. 3 12
- Can detect energy flows through the psionic perception of her constructed body, allowing her to locate hidden Assassins despite their concealment. 27
- Exploits deceptive identities and abandoned bodies to infiltrate guarded locations. 44 45
Staff Techniques
Jizi manifests the Ruyi Jingu Bang and employs copied Shaolin Yin Hand Staff techniques. 2 42
- Her techniques initially counter Lancer’s spear style, particularly because staff techniques share roots with spear techniques. 42
- Her advantage is temporary: Lancer adapts quickly, while Jizi’s lower physical parameters and D-rank Endurance limit prolonged combat. 42
- Her ordinary reproduction of the Ruyi Jingu Bang is a durable staff rather than the original weapon with size-changing properties. 2 3
Item Construction
While acting as Caster, Jizi can create practical objects through manifestation and Item Construction. 27
- Forged identification, money, and documents to secure hotel lodging. 27
- Created a one-use Poké Ball using Command Seals as a mana source. 34
- Crafted the Calm Amulet, an item that restores Berserker’s sanity while preserving his class benefits. 39
