Background / History

The clan was an ancient martial soul family with a heritage described as exceeding ten thousand years. Its estate stood in an ancient city hundreds of kilometers from Ming Capital and featured towering walls, an archaic gatehouse, and Blue Lightning Overlord Dragon statues. The clan’s wealth was later stated to have been accumulated across twenty thousand years. 8 11

It possessed immense stores of rare metals, heavenly treasures, medicinal herbs, soul beast materials, Soul Tools, jewelry, and gold. Its inventory alone was said to rival the Federation’s total resource output for a decade; Chen Yu characterized these resources as wealth extracted from the Federation over generations. 11 76

When the Federation moved to end resource support for Shrek Academy, the clan joined other noble houses and sects in demanding that Speaker Chen Yu withdraw the proposal and publicly apologize to Shrek. 8

Conflict with the Federation

Siege of the clan estate

Chen Yu ordered the Central Legion to surround the clan, with lethal force authorized against resistance. Thousands of soldiers sealed the estate while artillery batteries, Title Douluo-level guards, and red mechs established a complete military cordon. 8

The clan did not initially negotiate, trusting in its ancient heritage, public pressure, allied factions, and the support of Long Yeyue. A collateral disciple sent out from the estate was detained after acting arrogantly toward the Central Legion, provoking the clan elders. 8 9

Long Yeyue's death

Patriarch Yu Yuanxiao contacted Shrek Academy for aid, and Long Yeyue—an elder of the clan, Shrek’s Supreme Elder, and the Light and Dark Douluo—arrived to support it. She refused to negotiate with Yu Guanzhi. 9 10

At Yu Guanzhi’s request, Chen Yu killed Long Yeyue from afar with a single spear strike, devastating part of the estate and throwing the clan into chaos. 10 12

Annihilation

Following Long Yeyue’s death, Chen Yu ordered the Central Legion to thoroughly purge the clan, directing that no guilty members escape. Yu Yuanxiao attempted to resist by manifesting a Blue Lightning Overlord Dragon phantom, but Yu Guanzhi immobilized him with his “Suppress” character. 10 11

The ensuing battle lasted five hours, from dusk into the night. Soul Tool artillery, red mechs operated by Title Douluo-level pilots, and massed Soul Tool rifle fire overwhelmed the clan’s soul masters, guards, and Super Douluo elders. The estate was left in ruins. 11

All clan members, including Yu Yuanxiao, elders, and direct descendants, were taken into custody in soul-sealing chains. The Central Legion spent three days and nights clearing the estate’s vaults; seventy percent of the seized resources went to Chen Yu, while the remainder was allocated to Yu Guanzhi and the legion. Yu Guanzhi subsequently distributed half of his share to the soldiers and officers who had participated in the operation. 11

Forced labor assignment

Chen Yu later determined that continued imprisonment of the clan’s members was a waste of Federation resources. He ordered them sent to his factories and mines for unpaid labor, assigning them to hazardous smelting workshops, toxic chemical plants, and deep mine shafts where even soul masters risked irreversible physical harm. 86

To prevent escape, Level 9 Fixed Soul Guidance Shells were aimed at the labor sites, with orders to bombard the entire location if even one prisoner disappeared. The clan’s members were subsequently escorted to the mines, where the supervisory department maintained constant watch. 86 89
