Ch. 1Soul Transmigrating into Son Goku and Beginning the Path of Cultivation
Plot points
- Lin Tianhao wakes in the Dragon Ball world as young Son Goku, after a fall leaves him with amnesia. He accepts his new identity and decides to make the most of his second life.
- He begins an unusually intense training routine at age three. Son Gohan teaches him to sense and use ki, and Goku later becomes strong enough to fight his grandfather evenly.
- Gohan sends Goku to find Master Roshi. On the journey, Goku meets Bulma and helps her gather the Dragon Balls. He uses Shenron’s wish to obtain adjustable weighted clothing, then sets off for Korin Tower.
- Master Roshi finds Goku beyond his ability to teach and directs him to Korin. After three months of training, Goku leaves with Senzu Beans and returns to Mount Paozu.
- By the time he heads to the World Martial Arts Tournament, Goku has adapted to five times gravity and reached a combat power of 1,000. At the tournament, he reunites with Bulma, Krillin, Yamcha, and Roshi—and shocks everyone with his enormous appetite.
