Lynn joined the fight against the demons in the bar, while Raven prepared to fight alongside him. Lynn overwhelmed the demons with the Flameflow Blade and his summoned martial souls, leaving them questioning whether he was human.
Lynn defeated the Demon Clubs, awakened the Flameflow Blade’s Sacred Flame Sword Aura, and teamed up with Rachel Ross, who was also searching for Belur. They set out to hunt the demons and prevent Trigon’s return.
Lynn and Rachel cleared the last demon-infested location in Gotham, where Lynn rescued Constantine and Chas from a horde of Lesser Demons. After the battle, Constantine explained that the Greater Demon Belur had captured his friend’s daughter’s soul, leaving Lynn to wonder whether Belur was another major enemy.
Lynn, Raven, Constantine, and Chas joined forces to find the demon Belur and stop Hell from spreading into Gotham. As Constantine faced memories of a past failure, Lynn found the location of the final boss.
Lynn, Constantine, Raven, and Chas entered Belur’s manor to find Trish’s imprisoned soul, and Lynn attacked the demon before he could explain himself. Belur revealed his plans for a Pool of Flesh and became interested in Lynn’s soul, while Lynn answered with a holy sword strike aimed at Belur’s crotch.
Lynn fought the Greater Demon Belur in Gotham, using silver ammunition and his Transformation Stick to overpower him. Belur turned back from a carrot in front of Chas and taunted him.
Constantine and the others defeated Belur, but Belur transformed into the greater demon Nergal, Constantine’s old enemy from Newcastle. As Nergal taunted Constantine about Astra, Lynn charged at him with the Flameflow Blade.
Lynn used his newly advanced Flameflow Blade to overwhelm Nergal with Sacred Flame Sword Aura, then stopped time to attack the demon’s weak point. He resumed time after unloading sword strikes, Boss Martial Soul elbows, and a barrage of bullets at Nergal.
Lynn defeated Nergal and learned that the Hell Lord Negal was behind him. As Hell began invading Gotham, Lynn faced an army of Plague Demons and eagerly prepared to fight them.
Lynn and Raven fought Nergal’s demons as the Hell Lord’s plague spores strengthened them and his invasion began turning Gotham into a Hell Branch. With Constantine’s attempt to summon an angel interrupted and the city nearing doom, Lynn’s Flameflow Blade became eligible to ascend and summon the Angel of Justice.
Lynn transformed into a holy, winged warrior and defeated Hell Lord Nergal’s avatar in Gotham City. After banishing Nergal, Lynn received rewards and reached level 7, including a Dimensional Pocket that could store items and NPCs.
After Nergal was banished, Lynn inspected his rewards, spent his attribute points, and left Belur's estate after turning down Raven's request to exchange contact information. By September, he was in a Gotham bar listening to rumors about the Justice League and the government's plans, including Amanda Waller's attempt to recruit him.
Lynn accepted Amanda Waller’s request to form the Suicide Squad after his quest prompted him, then encountered Harley Quinn and Riddler at a Gotham bar. Riddler tried to solve Lynn’s sunflower riddle, but the chapter ended before he gave his answer.
Lynn recruited Harley Quinn after she proposed robbing Gotham Bank, then learned that recruited NPCs could help him complete quests and share skills at maximum affection. Lynn and Harley went to Zeus Securities to seek help recruiting more villains.
Lynn and Harley Quinn confronted the Ventriloquist at Zeus Securities, where Lynn seized control of the office and robbed his men. He destroyed Scarface and a ragged-sock puppet, then left Arnold wearing socks over all four limbs, wondering how the competing personalities would affect him.
Lynn and Harley defeated the Ventriloquist, gained money and a new quest to recruit three more members for the Bat Gang. As they flew to find recruits, they spotted Catwoman confronting Batman, and Lynn considered bringing Catwoman into the gang.
Lynn took Harley Quinn and Catwoman Selene from Batman, then persuaded Selene to join their planned jewelry heist instead of delivering the fear toxin formula to Penguin. At the Gotham Art Museum, they prepared to steal treasures during a jewelry exhibition, but Joker’s escape from Arkham Asylum interrupted them.
At the Gotham Art Museum, Lynn recognized Wonder Woman and tried to approach her, but an alarm and police intervention interrupted him. When officers opened fire, Lynn used his abilities and heavy weapons to kill several of them, leaving the remaining police stunned.
Lynn met with Deadshot, Floyd Lawton, hoping to recruit him into the Bat Gang. He used his IRS credentials and Floyd’s tax evasion—and his concern for his daughter, Zoe—to pressure him, leaving Floyd facing a choice.
Lynn forced Floyd Lawton to join the Bat Gang, then gathered the gang at its base to prepare to rob Joker and Riddler. Poison Ivy, Catwoman, and Floyd questioned whether the Justice League would oppose them, and Lynn claimed the Bat Gang counted as superheroes because they were robbing criminals.
Lynn infiltrated the Joker and Riddler’s airship with Harley Quinn, Catwoman, Poison Ivy, and Deadshot, calling his violent attack a perfect infiltration. The group split up, and Lynn’s team encountered Joker, who confronted Harley about her betrayal while Lynn settled in to watch their argument.
On the airship, Lynn confronted Joker and convinced him his gun had no bullets, then attacked him and sparked a fight between the Joker Gang and the Bat Gang. Harley, Catwoman, and Poison Ivy fought together against Joker’s armed henchmen.
Lynn robbed Joker and discovered that doing so advanced his story mission, but he and Joker fell into a trap over a vat of sulfuric acid. Harley Quinn tried to save Lynn, and Riddler opened Lynn’s enclosure, only for Lynn to appear in Red and Gold Armor with Harley in his arms.
Lynn completed the robbery mission and received rewards, but a newly unlocked boss mission brought The Batman Who Laughs Hulk to the airship. The Hulk attacked Lynn and Catwoman, blaming Iron Man for the deaths of his former allies.
Lynn transformed The Batman Who Laughs Hulk into a carrot briefly, but the monster returned to normal and began wrecking the airship while Batman tried to escape and stop him. Poison Ivy failed to restrain him, and Kara arrived and knocked him away with a powerful punch.
