It was the 112th year of the war between the Galactic Human Alliance and the insect race.

Tormented by unwanted romantic advances from other men, Su Lin fled in misery to the most remote, run-down research institute he could find, hoping to coast through life.

But never in his wildest dreams did he imagine that an insect army would launch a surprise attack there. Nor did he imagine that an accident would fuse his body with an Insect Mother specimen in a culture dish-a specimen that had long since ceased showing any signs of life.

When he regained consciousness after the excruciating pain, Su Lin discovered, to his utter horror, that the insect army had "rescued" him from the collapsing laboratory.

Thank heavens the Insect Mother specimen fused with his body was only a completely undeveloped larva. Those ravenous, vicious, monstrous males had therefore failed to notice anything unusual about him.

Now, Su Lin had only two matters of life and death to contend with.

First, how could he conceal his identity as a human?

Second, how could he conceal the fact that he was also an Insect Mother from the frenzied swarm?
