Background

Xiao Kuang begins as an ordinary, sleep-deprived slacker who awakens while falling through a chaotic primordial battlefield. His impact lands at the center of the clash between Dao Ancestor Hongjun and Demon Ancestor Luohu, flattening both into scroll-like forms and disrupting the Heavenly Dao’s intended process. The malfunctioning Heavenly Dao subsequently binds him as its Dao Integration Agent and forces an immense influx of laws and information into his consciousness. 1

Although he initially refuses his assigned work, Xiao Kuang discovers that Purple Firmament Divine Thunder cannot meaningfully harm him because of his connection to the Heavenly Dao. He only agrees to carry out Dao Integration duties after the Heavenly Dao tempts him with the prospect of meeting the era’s renowned goddesses. 2
